Let me fill all of you in who don't know, Cassio was fired by Othello because he was drunk and he wounded Montano: Othello's predecessor in the Government of Cyprus. Cassio was Othello's second in command. Othello is Desdemona husband, general of the armies of Venice, and he is a well respected man. Yet he is a Moor, not that I take issue with this, he is very kind to Desdemona and all of his men in command. But he is still a general, he has decisions to make.
Desdemona isn't having it, she can't believe that Cassio would do such a thing. He was drunk after all. Since Desdemona is my lady I am relaying messages. But the problem is, once I told Cassio this he still wanted to talk to Desdemona. I am in no position to refuse, so I invited him in.
I really hope this all works out, things haven't been the best between Desdemona, Cassio, and Othello lately.
